Heating and Ventilation in Geneva
Lasting comfort, energy performance and guaranteed air quality
Master your thermal comfort
with our HVAC expertise
Heating and ventilation are the two pillars of thermal comfort and air quality in a building. A poorly sized or ageing system means skyrocketing bills, stale air, uneven temperatures from one room to another and a building that no longer meets current energy requirements. At Class Orga, we design, install and maintain HVAC installations suited to residential, commercial and office buildings in the Canton of Geneva.
Each project starts with an analysis of the building’s thermal and airflow needs: volumes, existing insulation, room use, number of occupants and energy performance targets. On this basis, we size a consistent installation, compliant with SIA standards and cantonal requirements.
Our heating and ventilation services:
- Heat pumps: air-to-water, ground-to-water or water-to-water, for efficient and renewable heating, eligible for cantonal grants.
- Boilers and hybrid systems: replacement of oil or gas boilers with more efficient solutions, in line with the Energy Master Plan 2020-2030.
- Underfloor heating: installation or renovation of low-temperature systems, compatible with heat pumps and Minergie labels.
- Mechanical ventilation: single-flow, dual-flow with heat recovery, for optimal air renewal without energy losses.
- Air handling units: filtration, humidification and regulation of indoor air quality for commercial and office spaces.
- Regulation and control: building management systems (BMS), smart thermostats and zone programming to master consumption.
- Preventive maintenance: maintenance contracts, periodic checks and responsive technical service to ensure the longevity of your installations.
Regarding air conditioning, Geneva’s regulations are among the strictest in Switzerland. Comfort air conditioning installations require cantonal authorisation and are only permitted if the need is demonstrated according to the SIA 180 standard criteria, or if certain specific conditions are met (recovery of waste heat, low electrical power). Process cooling (server cooling, food preservation, laboratories), on the other hand, is not subject to the same restrictions. We support you in assessing your situation and, if applicable, in the authorisation process with the OCEN.
Our installations are part of our ability to manage all all-trades works, for smooth coordination between heating, ventilation, electrical, plumbing and finishes.
