Suspended ceiling installation in Geneva

A suspended ceiling is much more than decorative cladding. It conceals technical networks (electrical, ventilation, sprinklers), improves acoustics, contributes to thermal insulation and integrates lighting discreetly. As part of our all-trades works, we design and install suspended ceilings suited to every type of building in the Canton of Geneva: housing, offices, shops, public facilities and technical rooms.

Each project is studied according to the available height, the networks to integrate, the acoustic requirements and the desired level of finish. We select the most suitable system and materials, then coordinate the installation with the other trades (electrician, HVAC installer, sprinkler fitter) so that everything is cleanly integrated before closure.

We install all types of suspended ceilings:

• Modular removable ceilings: tiles on exposed or semi-recessed frameworks, in mineral fibres, metal or wood. Easy access to technical networks for maintenance and future modifications.
• Plasterboard ceilings: smooth and continuous surface, fixed on a suspended metal framework. Ideal for residential spaces and environments where aesthetics come first.
• Acoustic tiles: high sound absorption panels, compliant with SIA acoustic comfort guidelines. Essential in open spaces, meeting rooms and public venues.
• Fire-rated ceilings: certified systems providing fire resistance compliant with AEAI and cantonal requirements, for horizontal compartmentation of buildings.
• Stretch ceilings: PVC or textile fabrics stretched on perimeter profiles, for great freedom of shape, colour and lighting integration (backlighting, integrated spots).
• Metal ceilings: aluminium or steel strips, cassettes or panels, for environments with strong hygiene or moisture requirements (professional kitchens, laboratories, swimming pools).
• Wood ceilings: solid or veneered wood slats or panels, for a warm look in reception areas, restaurants and high-end residential interiors.

Preparation is decisive: we check levels, fix the framework precisely and integrate reservations for lighting, ventilation grilles, detectors and sprinklers before installing tiles or boards. This upstream work ensures a clean, aligned result in compliance with the technical drawings.

We work on new constructions as well as on renovations where the suspended ceiling must adapt to an existing slab height or conceal ageing networks. Each site is scheduled to fit into the overall project timeline without delaying finishes.
